This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information obtained from visitors to this website, ensemble.ai. It covers this website only. A company’s Ensemble workspace, at its own address, is covered by the agreement between that company and Ensemble.

[1] Information We Collect

We collect as little as we can. The information we collect falls into two categories:

Information you give us: We collect this only when you choose to provide it.

Requesting a workspace. The request form asks for your name, your work email address, your company, and a short description of what you want to run on Ensemble.
Writing to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically: This is collected when you visit, without you providing it.

Your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site. We use your IP address only for security and abuse prevention, including limiting how many requests one address can send. The request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page viewed, the referring page, and general information such as browser type, operating system, and country. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across websites.

What stays on your device. The workspace finder can remember the workspaces you have opened recently. That list is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device. It is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time from the finder or from your browser’s settings.

We do not ask for or collect passwords or other sign-in credentials on this website. The workspace finder only directs you to your workspace’s own sign-in page.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Respond to You: We use the details in a workspace request, or in an email you send us, to evaluate the request and reply to you.
To Operate and Improve Our Website: Aggregate analytics help us understand how visitors use the website. Your IP address is used only to keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
To Comply with Legal Obligations: In certain circumstances, we may need to use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages to the address in a workspace request.

[3] How Long We Keep It

We keep workspace requests for 180 days from the day they are submitted and then delete them. If a request leads to a workspace, the information needed to run that workspace is kept under the agreement for it. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website. Today that is Cloudflare, which hosts the website, stores workspace requests, and provides the analytics and security services described above. These providers are obligated to protect your information.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to comply with legal processes, enforce our policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. The only analytics we use is the cookie-free service described in section 1.

Despite our efforts, no system can guarantee complete security, and you should take precautions when sharing information online.
